We score every washing machine across four dimensions. These are reliability, efficiency, features, and value for money. We then combine them into a single WAC Score out of 100. The higher the score, the better the match between what the product offers and what most people actually need.
How likely the appliance is to last, based on brand track record, warranty, and build quality.
Energy rating and running costs over time, not just the sticker price.

But a score on its own isn't enough. The best washing machine for a single person in a flat is not the same as the best one for a family of five. So we ask you a couple of questions (it should not take more than two minutes) and then use your answers to find you the one machine that fits your life, your household, and your budget.
