Is 9kg the right size?
A 9kg drum handles a full load of bedding or around four days of washing for a family of four. Below that, 8kg suits couples and small households; above it, 10kg and 12kg machines let you wash less often, which usually costs less to run overall than a smaller drum used daily. Our buying guide covers sizing in full.
